I have been involved in the real estate industry for over 25 years. As a mortgage lender and bank manager, I worked with first-time home buyers, retirees looking to downsize, helped growing families purchase a bigger home and financed major remodel and construction projects for clients. When I began my real estate career, I was fortunate to be awarded Rookie of the Year for the Whatcom County Association of Realtors. In 2016, I served as President of WCAR and was honored to be named Realtor of the Year for 2017. I hold both the Certified Residential Specialist and Senior Real Estate Specialist designations which are awarded only to the top 3% of all Realtors in the nation. I also am a Certified Negotiation Expert. That means I have a high level of experience in sales, marketing, negotiations and the technical ability to meet the demands of today's market.
Giving back to the community is important to me. I currently serve on the Whatcom Community Nursing Advisory Board, as an ambassador for the Bellingham/Whatcom County Chamber of Commerce and volunteer for the Whatcom Memorial Day Parade. I was a founding board member of Communities in Schools, served on the Sovereign Lending Task Force for the State of Washington, was a board member of LAW Advocates, and taught First-Time Home Buyer classes as part of the House Key Program for the State of Washington. Recently I honored as a finalists for the 2014 Professional Business Woman of the Year by Whatcom Women in Business and was awarded the 2016 Chamber Ambassador of the Year. All these community connections mean that I network with lots of buyers and sellers which help me achieve results for you!
I have always had a passion for real estate. My top priority is educating clients so you are knowledgeable and confident throughout the process of buying or selling real estate. With the latest internet tools, searching for a home is a snap! I can set up a search that automatically emails you when a home first hits the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). As a seller, your property is immediately marketed to all real estate and financial websites along with broad print advertising and public visibility with agents tours, open houses and the Bellis Fair Mall Kiosk. I also use social media to target market potential buyers. Windermere has the largest market share in Whatcom County so you get the widest market exposure amongst the best agents in the business for a faster purchase or sale. Let's get together and see how we can make your real estate dreams come true!
